<p>GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>The ZMill Floor Operator is responsible for the floor level tasks on the mill. Standard Work</p> <p>Instructions are to be understood and followed.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ol> <li>Coordinate and communicate with material movement and roll grinding the necessary </li></ol> <p>coils and mill roll needs for the production shift.</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Loading and unloading coils onto the machine.</p> </li><li> <p>Change rolls and backing shafts as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspect the strip per work instructions.</p> </li><li> <p>Data entry into P.C.'s.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain housekeeping standards.</p> </li></ol> <p>SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Participation in relevant continuous improvement programs.</p> </li></ol> <p>MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required</p> <p>PHYSICAL ABILITIES REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Mobility in plant </li><li>While performing the duties of (this job), the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, </li></ul> <p>walk, etc.</p> <ul> <li>The employee is frequently required to make use of their hands for technical tasks </li><li>The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds </li><li>The employee must occasionally push and/or pull up to 100 pounds </li><li>Visual ability with or without correction </li><li>Communication abilities </li></ul> <p>HEALTH AND SAFETY:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Follow Company safety rules</p> </li><li> <p>Report the absence of or defect in any protective equipment or clothing to the Supervisor</p> </li></ol> <p>or Manager immediately</p> <ol start="4"> <li>Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that is required to be used or </li></ol> <p>worn:</p> <p>a.
