<p>Performs assigned project work to maintain hospital facilities in a clean, orderly condition in accordance with established policies and procedures. Tasks include but are not limited to carpet care, hard floor restoration, and meeting set ups.</p> <p>Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of experience in cleaning services, with working knowledge of floor care </li><li>Ability to read and write English </li><li>Ability to adhere to policies and procedures without exception </li><li>Ability to effectively prioritize requests, while maintaining established work flow </li><li>Flexibility to adapt to changing needs while maintaining focus in accomplishing tasks. </li><li>Must have excellent oral communication and customer service skills in working with stakeholders across the care continuum, including patients, families, physicians and colleagues. </li><li>Detail oriented with ability to accurately complete daily work tickets </li><li>Ability to productively work alone and as part of a collaborative team </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Related experience, preferably in a hospital setting </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in a school program </li></ul> <p>License/Certification: N/A</p> <p>Age Specific Criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.</p> <p>Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
