Join us at ECPI University and make a real impact where it matters!</p> <p>The Director of Nursing for the {insert program name} program is responsible for the administration, planning, implementation and evaluation of the {insert program name} program.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Students</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the admission, academic progression and graduation of students. </li><li>Evaluate student progress and competency based on program philosophy and objectives. </li></ul> <p>Faculty</p> <ul> <li>Interview and select nursing faculty who are qualified and contribute to the program and student outcomes. </li><li>Supervise and evaluate program faculty including in-class reviews of each instructor. </li><li>Orient new faculty to policies and procedures of the University and the program. </li></ul> <p>Program</p> <ul> <li>Provide evaluation and feedback to the program on course materials, current changes in practice, standards of practice, and student accomplishment of course and program outcomes. </li><li>Plan and lead program Advisory Board meetings. </li></ul> <p>Professional Development</p> <ul> <li>Commit to ongoing professional development through continued education programs and academic courses. </li><li>Ensure program faculty remain current in trends, issues and practices in the field, as well as effective teaching strategies and assessment methods. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education/Credentials</p> <ul> <li> <p>Masters degree in Nursing from an institutional accredited school (either ACEN, CCNE, etc).</p> </li><li> <p>Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State in which the program is licensed</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of two years of registered nursing experience </li><li>Minimum of two years of experience as a full-time faculty member in an approved nursing program </li><li>Minimum of two years full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse </li></ul> <p>Skills/Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong academic and professional record </li><li>Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment </li><li>The highest levels of integrity at all times </li><li>Orientation toward results </li><li>Exemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills </li></ul> <p>Benefits of Employment</p> <p>ECPI University provides a comprehensive benefits program designed to help our faculty and staff stay healthy, feel supported, and maintain a work/life balance.
