By focusing on continual improvement, our services remain at the forefront of our industry, and we pride ourselves on delivering our services with the highest degree of integrity Position Overview Section We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to provide high-level technical, analytical, and integration support to Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) in the development, modernization, and sustainment of Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) systems. This role supports both strategic requirements integration and engineering analysis for current and future nuclear deterrent capabilities. Essential Job Functions: Provide technical and analytical support for ICBM requirements, nuclear surety, and systems engineering tasks. Serve as a liaison between AFGSC, Air Staff, SPOs, and other DoD stakeholders to support mission objectives. Analyze program schedules, risks, and modernization impacts to inform senior decision-making. Prepare and deliver briefs, white papers, and status updates in support of A5I/A5H requirements. Participate in IPTs, TIMs, design reviews, and working groups; occasional travel as required.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in ICBM operations, maintenance, security, testing, or systems engineering. </li><li>5+ years of staff experience at an Air Force MAJCOM, Headquarters Air Force, or Joint equivalent. </li><li>2+ years of nuclear enterprise experience at the MAJCOM, NAF, or HAF level. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Expertise:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of ICBM systems, nuclear surety, and strategic deterrence operations. </li><li>Ability to analyze technical data, program schedules, risks, and modernization impacts. </li><li>Experience drafting briefs, white papers, and technical recommendations for senior leaders. </li><li>Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills. </li><li>Ability to participate in IPTs, TIMs, design reviews, and cross-functional technical forums. </li></ul> <p>Security Clearance:</p> <ul> <li>Top Secret (TS) with SCI eligibility, or previously held TS/SCI (expired but not revoked). </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Nuclear Studies, Operations Research, or a related technical field. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), contract compliance, and reporting.</p> <p>SierTeK is an equal opportunity employer.
