<p>Duxbury High School is seeking an advisor for the following co-curricular position:</p> <p>Spring Festival of Plays Director</p> <p>Duxbury High School Drama is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Spring Festival of Plays Director for the Spring of 2026. Responsibilities include working alongside a student director to select, cast, and produce a one-act play, planning, organizing, and running 2-3 rehearsals a week, attending a pre-production meeting during one of the Thespian Troupe's weekly Work Nights, and attending both tech week rehearsals and performances.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience directing a theatre production is preferred. However, any prior theatre experience is beneficial.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with student actors, directors, and designers.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to effectively plan and run rehearsals.</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness and ability to provide guidance and support to student directors.</p> </li><li> <p>A flexible after-school schedule. (Rehearsal schedules are built around both directors' and students' schedules to ensure that all students have the opportunity to participate.)</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Stipend per the DTA contract.
