<p>Forklift Driver - 1st Shift (9:00am - 5:00 pm M-F - $22.57/hour)</p> <p>Who we are looking for:</p> <p>We are currently searching for a Forklift Driver to be based out of De Pere, WI. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this person will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. This person will also pick orders and help stage product to be ready for shipment.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <p>Forklift Operator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Load and unload semi-trucks, mills, and secondary operation machines. </li><li>Accurately complete required shipping reports and paperwork. </li><li>Read production tags and use the scanning computer system. </li><li>Recognize distribution channel problems and recommend corrective measures. </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring:</p> <ul> <li>Previous work experience operating forklift or similar equipment required. </li><li>Must be able to perform job while standing and sitting. </li><li>Previous work experience with computers and scanning experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Within 3 months, you'll:</p> <ul> <li>Complete your forklift training. </li><li>Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the plant. </li><li>Have an understanding of Atkore's Business System and what it means to the plant. </li></ul> <p>Who we are:</p> <p>Atkore is a five-time Great Place to Work certified company and a two-time Top Workplaces USA award winner!
