<p>Job Title: Electrical Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting a wide range of projects and participating in all aspects of the product lifecycle. You will be involved in requirements development, preliminary design, critical design, prototype, test, and production phases. As an Engineer, you will tackle challenging technical problems, drive new feature designs, improve product performance, and contribute to the regular delivery of space-bound hardware. Over time, you will gain more autonomy and ownership, with clear opportunities for career growth.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support a wide range of projects throughout the product lifecycle. </li><li>Participate in requirements development, preliminary design, critical design, prototype, test, and production. </li><li>Address challenging technical problems and drive new feature designs. </li><li>Improve product performance and participate in research and development. </li><li>Contribute to the regular delivery of space-bound hardware. </li><li>Take on increasing autonomy and ownership over time. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>3-5+ years of experience with PCB design. </li><li>Proficiency in C++, C, Python, Cadence, and Altium. </li><li>Experience designing test equipment, including test script development and automation using MATLAB, C/C++, or Python. </li><li>5+ years of experience in electrical/electronics engineering in a related or regulated industry. </li><li>Experience with power electronics design and development. </li><li>3+ years of experience with design and debug of analog, digital, or power electronics. </li><li>Schematic and PCB design skills using Cadence or Altium. </li><li>Circuit analysis, including worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA), component stress, failure mode analysis (FMEA/FMECA), reliability analysis, and radiation effects analysis. </li><li>Hardware testing and debugging with tools such as oscilloscopes and programmable power supplies. </li><li>Effective documentation skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with high-reliability, fault-tolerant, radiation tolerance, and/or safety-critical systems. </li><li>Knowledge of EEE parts quality requirements. </li><li>Experience designing products for operation in harsh environments. </li><li>Supplier management: parts procurement, PCB fabrication, and assembly service. </li><li>Experience with environmental testing (thermal, vacuum, EMI/EMC) processes and equipment. </li><li>Design for manufacturing and design for testing expertise. </li><li>Experience working with quality management systems like ISO-9001, AS9100. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Our work environment is designed for engineers who are passionate about their work but also value a rich life outside of work.
