<p>Job#: 3036774</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Buyer - Buyer I</p> <p>Location: North Reading, Massachusetts (Onsite)</p> <p>Compensation: $20 - $28 Hourly</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Buyer. This role is responsible for purchasing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring material availability. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong computer skills, and thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Purchasing materials and equipment, including electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, and PCB assemblies. </li><li>Managing supplier relationships and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior leadership. </li><li>Providing inputs for monthly scorecards and presenting procurement data during business reviews. </li><li>Planning material requirements, managing inventory levels, and managing schedules in the ERP system. </li><li>Identifying supply chain risks and monitoring material flow. </li><li>Collaborating with the Planning team to communicate supply chain risks and mitigation strategies. </li><li>Developing mechanisms for monitoring and updating open purchase orders and delivery requirements. </li><li>Assisting the Global Commodity Management team with supplier relationship management and performance monitoring. </li><li>Resolving purchase order receiving errors and assisting with invoice reconciliation. </li><li>Managing supplier returns, including non-conformance reports and return material authorizations. </li><li>Identifying and leading process improvement initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Experience: Successful candidates will be highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.</p> <p>Technical Skills: Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
