<p>Description</p> <p>Job ID</p> <p>AH9946-2305-1925</p> <p>Position Classification</p> <p>FT Administrative Hourly</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The oversight of Shiple Hall. Including but not limited to: RA supervisor, Conduct Hearting Officer, After Hours Duty response, community development.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Organize and facilitate regularly scheduled staff meetings, individual meetings with the director, individual meetings with staff members and Residence Life meetings. </li><li>Provide leadership to an area staff in the achievement of the programmatic goals and objectives of that area with supervision of hall staff. </li><li>Serve as a judicial hearing officer for Residence Life. </li><li>Serve as on call staff for Residence Life on a rotation basis for nights, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, coordinate and support for emergencies and serious incidents. </li><li>Assist with the overall departmental functions: Including office operations, staff selection and training and development, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, recognition, and evaluation. </li><li>Assist in the professional staff responsibilities of all residential openings and closings. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education - A college degree or four to eight years of work experience in a related field. </li><li>Employment - Six months to two years (Equivalent combination of education and employment). </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <p>The ability to objectively problem solve, crisis response, and diplomatically help others solve problems. Regular interaction and support of first year students is required.</p> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (1 to 10pounds).</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Occasional exposure to objectionable conditions or variations such as those found in variable weather conditions or light industrial settings.</p> <p>Salary/Pay Information</p> <p>Commensurate with experience</p> <p>Anticipated Schedule</p> <p>Monday - Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm, Some nights and weekends. The position does have on-call responsibilities.</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>This is not a traditional office job, but involves evening/weekend hours.
