<p>Network Operations Engineer</p> <ul> <li>Daily SORT processing and JCL modification </li><li>Running daily and nightly batch jobs </li><li>Job scheduling and submission </li><li>System monitoring, performing health checks, escalating and resolving system errors or abends, and generating performance reports </li><li>24/7 Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting infrastructure </li><li>Diagnosing and resolving network issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems. </li><li>Incident response </li><li>Communicating with other IT teams, vendors, and sometimes customers to resolve issues and escalate problems when needed. </li><li>Creating and maintaining documentation for network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and incident resolutions. </li><li>Performing routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and security patching. </li><li>Manage open incidents </li><li>Responsible for after-hours and weekends on-call duties </li><li>Minimum (6-8) years related work experience </li><li>Mainframe operating systems like z/VSE, job control languages, scheduling tools, and strong analytical and communication abilities. </li><li>Experience with network monitoring tools, incident management systems, and network security practices. </li><li>Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), and operating systems. </li><li>Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve network issues using various tools and techniques. </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with others and explain technical information. </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range- $70,000-$75,000 a year</p> <p>#LI-SP3</p> <p>#LI-VX1</p>
