In this role you will be responsible for the planning, coordinating and directing of a wide and varied scope of activities and programming which meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical and environmental needs of the residents.</p> <p>Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Director of Life Enrichment:</p> <ul> <li>Assess resident preferences and develop a program of opportunities that are meaningful to the residents served and enhance their sense of well-being (identity, growth, autonomy, security, connectedness, meaning and joy) </li><li>Provide overall leadership to and management of Life Enrichment Associates </li><li>Coordinate a dynamic and active volunteer program </li><li>Plan, coordinate and direct a balanced program of spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical and environmental activities with the intent of including all residents in areas of lifestyle activity. </li></ul> <p>Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:</p> <ul> <li>Associate or Bachelor's degree in recreational activities/life enrichment or the equivalent of working experience in the field. </li><li>Three years' working experience in activities/life enrichment with seniors. </li><li>Experience working with memory care residents desired; supervisory experience preferred. </li><li>Must possess a current/valid Chauffeur License </li></ul> <p>Salary $52,000.00</p> <p>EEO Employer</p>
