<p>Overview</p> <p>Consider joining the Pennex family as a Head Stretcher - Night Shift at our Wellsville, PA location. The Head Stretcher operates a hydraulic stretcher and/or clamp to straighten and stretch aluminum extrusions to meet customer requirements.</p> <p>This position works a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on rotating days and weekends.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Stretches a quality product; inspects for dents, bends, scratches, die lines, and other defects. Reports all problems and defects to the Shift Foreman or Lead Person. </li><li>Uses blocks and gauges when needed. </li><li>Regularly checks all equipment and ensures that equipment is maintained in safe working order. Informs Foreman or Lead Person immediately of any problems with equipment. </li><li>Responsible for keeping metal spaced properly on the cooling table and keeping the stretcher table full for the saw crew. </li><li>Rolls logs to the storage/staging area and paints them as required. </li><li>Assists the saw crew to maintain production. </li><li>Stages empty baskets and ensures they are ready for saw operation. </li><li>Keeps all material and tools out of walkways.
