<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Facilities Supervisor will oversee the safe operation, maintenance, aesthetic appearance, and GMP documentation of our medical device manufacturing plant. This role manages a team of employees and third-party contractors to ensure the site operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly responsive, and demonstrates a strong customer service orientation.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and provide leadership to contractors and internal stakeholders to support facility operations. </li><li>Oversee contracted facility services, including housekeeping, pest control, HVAC maintenance, landscaping, and more. </li><li>Lead or participate in site-related projects, including project management, budget oversight, and scope of work development. </li><li>Provide routine on-call and emergency response services as required. </li><li>Manage building maintenance services through preventive maintenance (PM) and work order (WO) programs, maintaining accurate records. </li><li>Perform general facility repair tasks (e.g., drywall, painting, furniture modifications, lamp replacement, plumbing repairs). </li><li>Monitor and maintain the facilities budget, ensuring work remains within projected guidelines. </li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, PPE requirements, Quality System Regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). </li><li>Support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives, including weekly/monthly maintenance tasks. </li><li>Participate in required procedures for fire alarm shutdowns, hot work permits, and sprinkler valve checklists. </li><li>Participate in the after-hours on-call program as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong professional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on safety, business needs, and customer satisfaction. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Building Management Systems (BMS); preferred experience with CAD and Work Order Management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, AMMS). </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of facilities management, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance programs. </li><li>Strong background in building management systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. </li><li>Self-starter able to complete assignments with minimal supervision. </li><li>Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs. </li><li>Experience developing and following crisis management strategies. </li><li>Ability to travel occasionally (less than 5% of the time) to other Hologic office locations, as needed. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree (AS/BS) or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management/supervision, preferably in a medical device or GMP manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>Training Requirements:</p> <p>All employees are required to complete training in relevant policies and procedures based on facility activities and corporate standards.</p> <p>So why join Hologic?</p> <p>We are committed to making Hologic the company where top talent comes to grow.
