<p>Summary: Delivers food and beverage to guest table from kitchen and bar according to established procedures and customer service standards.</p> <p>Job Title: Runner</p> <p>Department: Food & Beverage</p> <p>Reports To: Shift Manager Dukes/Asst Shift Manager Marketplace</p> <p>FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt</p> <p>License Type: Non-Gaming</p> <p>Target Pay: Start - $23.04 One Year - $25.60</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Acknowledge the guest and delivers beverage orders in accordance to serving standards </li><li>Take guest orders accurately and completely </li><li>Always maintain a clean workstation and perform assigned side work duties such as stocking coffee, glasses, cream, sugar, beverage napkins, etc. </li><li>Ensure the initial delivery of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages </li><li>Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, performing all job duties in the safest possible manner </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Six Months or more of customer service experience (food and beverage industry preferred) </li><li>21 Years of age or older </li><li>Must be alcohol and food handler certified </li><li>Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking </li><li>Ability to read, write and communicate </li><li>Ability to perform basic math </li><li>Ability to understand the concept of cash handling, making change and counting it back to customers </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing </li><li>Ability to communicate with Team members and guests </li><li>Ability to be a TEAM player </li><li>Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process </li><li>Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk </li><li>Frequently lifts/carries 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds </li><li>Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel </li><li>Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor </li><li>Ability to work in a noisy environment </li></ul>
