<p>Department</p> <p>FPG Administration</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Now Hiring Medical Assistants to join our team at various provider offices with First Physician's Group (FPG).</p> <p>Offices are located in the Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, North Port, Gulf Gate, Nokomis and Venice areas:</p> <ul> <li>Family Medicine </li><li>Pediatrics </li><li>Internal Medicine </li><li>OB/Gyn </li><li>ENT (ear nose and throat) </li><li>GI </li><li>Neurology </li><li>Endocrinology </li><li>Laryngology </li><li>Pulmonology </li><li>Dermatology </li><li>Cardioloyg </li><li>Orhopedics </li><li>Urology </li><li>Plastics </li><li>Medical Assistant job title in our FPG offices is Clinical Care Coordinator I </li></ul> <p>Pay Range = $20.00/hr-$28.20/hr</p> <ul> <li>Pay rates offered are based on years of Medical Assistant experience (and equity with others on the team). </li><li>Opportunities for New Grad and Experienced Medical Assistants! </li><li>Individualized orientation/training </li><li>Specialized training in patient management for a wide range of healthcare services </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Requires current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by:</p> <ul> <li>American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), </li><li>National Healthcare Association (NHA) </li><li>National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) </li></ul> <p>OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by:</p> <ul> <li>American Medical Technologists (AMT) </li><li>Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) </li><li>National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); OR a certified EMT. </li></ul> <p>Note: Experienced medical assistants with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience, and with a certification from a certifying agency not noted above, or without certification, agrees to register with one of the currently accepted agencies for MA Certification and schedule a test date within 6 months from date of hire. Test for certification may be beyond the six (6) month date.
