<p>Business Intelligence Analyst</p> <p>Department: Analytic Support 105604</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time</p> <p>Location: Sterling Heights</p> <p>Reporting To: Brian Potts</p> <p>Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 / year</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Business Intelligence Analyst supports data-driven decision making by building and maintaining reporting, dashboards, forecasting models, and repeatable analysis that translate operational and financial data into clear insights. This role partners with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs, validate data, and deliver intuitive dashboards, forecasts, and KPI views that help leaders act quickly.</p> <p>The Experience You'll Create</p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards, KPI reporting, and forecasting models. </li><li>Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models to support the sales team in new business opportunity. </li><li>Apply statistical techniques, including multiple regression analysis, to identify drivers of performance and improve forecast accuracy. </li><li>Develop intuitive visualizations to support operational and financial decision making. </li><li>Perform ad hoc reporting requested submitted through Jira for multiple divisions. </li><li>Partner with IT and business teams to integrate data sources and validate outputs. </li><li>Automate recurring reporting and forecasting workflows to reduce manual effort. </li><li>Provide training and documentation to help users effectively consume insights. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Ingredients for Thriving</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, forecasting, or reporting roles. </li><li>Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills including advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and basic modeling. </li><li>Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI. </li><li>Strong understanding of data analysis, forecasting concepts, and data visualization best practices. </li><li>Foundational statistics knowledge, including correlation and multiple regression analysis. </li><li>Basic understanding of data structures, tables, and relationships. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. </li><li>Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. </li><li>Understanding of how automation and AI can be embedded into analytics and forecasting workflows. </li><li>Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality, accurate work. </li><li>Ownership mindset with strong follow-through and accountability. </li><li>Collaborative and service-oriented approach when working with internal teams. </li></ul> <p>Savor the Benefits</p> <p>We prioritize the health, wellness and work-life balance of our team members and designed our comprehensive compensation packages to reflect that.</p> <ul> <li>Full-time team members are eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, parental leave, 401(k) with company match, at-work dining perks, flexible schedules, generous PTO, and a total rewards program.
