For more information about Eos (NASDAQ: EOSE), visit eose.com.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Manager of Electronics Engineering is responsible for building and leading the Electronics Engineering team and providing technical guidance to the Electronics Engineering laboratory while contributing to the continued development of the Eos Battery Energy Storage Systems.</p> <p>Accountable For</p> <p>The Manager of Electronics Engineering is accountable for developing and delivering the Electronics design iterations of the Eos Battery and Energy Management Systems, both legacy and new, using appropriate Electronics development processes including design management through ECR/ECO processes, to validation prototypes, to pilot and production releases.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage daily priorities and task assignments for the Electronics engineering team.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of analog, digital, mixed-signal, and embedded electronic systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Review and approve schematics, PCB layouts, component selections, and design documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices (EMC, safety, reliability, manufacturability).</p> </li><li> <p>Manage engineering schedules, resource allocation, and project priorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead the management of existing Electronics designs in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts in the Electronics team. This includes managing the ECR/ECO process for PCBs</p> </li><li> <p>Support the Supply Chain in identifying, testing and validating component replacements for obsolescence and cost reduction reasons.</p> </li><li> <p>Create test and validation plans for product changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the Director of Engineering to identify, develop, and manage external engineering resources (including development partners and contract manufacturers) as needed in sustaining engineering.</p> </li><li> <p>Support manufacturing engineering and operations in integration of current and new designs into production and test.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with other groups in engineering in the development of automated testing platforms of current and new products.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in future product roadmap development with eth Director of Electronics Engineering.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the Director of Electronics Engineering in personnel decisions in Electronics Engineering.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop robust and efficient engineering processes for the electronics engineering team.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with the engineering team to complete and maintain documentation of current and new products.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to adapt to changes in direction to drive the company through scale-up.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to understand technical issues and justify technical decisions using data and analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment of an emerging growth company.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of project management or organizing project deliverables.</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to own and drive company and product improvement initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in electronics product and test systems development including embedded platforms and Windows / Linux based systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in leading an electronics lab is required</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to travel up to 25%</p> </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 5 years of experience.</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years of experience managing a team of engineers, technicians, and 3rd party resources.</p> </li></ul> <p>Travel</p> <ul> <li> <p>Local Travel: 10-25%</p> </li><li> <p>Overnight/North America: 10-25%</p> </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Office Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. May be required to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.</p> </li><li> <p>Factory - The worker may be subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, vibration, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to temperature changes or exposure to chemicals. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, odors, dust, mists, and gases. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and lab coats. May be required to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.</p> </li></ul>
