<p>The Nordic Valley Lift Operations team is the front-line and face of resort Mountain Operations. This role is responsible for operating the ski lifts and helping to create a fun and safe environment for our guests. The ideal candidate is energetic, guest-focused, and works well in a fast-paced environment. Please see the complete listing of employee perks on our website.</p> <p>Key Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist and direct guests loading and unloading chairlifts and conveyors in a safe, professional, and efficient manner, using excellent guest service skills. </li><li>Maintain the loading/unloading ramps and lift maze areas. </li><li>Remove snow from chairs, ramps, and work areas. </li><li>Daily set up and take down of guest loading, preloading, chair clearance and line maze areas. </li><li>Operate machinery and tools in a safe and responsible manner. </li><li>Assist in emergency situations as required, such as misloads, unseated passengers & lift evacuations, </li><li>Work well with team members, demonstrate good communication skills, and promote a positive work environment. </li><li>Answer guests questions related to general resort operations, ski lifts, routes, and ski runs. </li><li>Follow supervisors direction and perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul>
