Executive Director of Human Resources</p> <p>Subject:Developers and Instructors for Extending the Learning Course on Students with Disabilities & Instruction of Students with Diverse Learning Styles</p> <p>As part of the district's support for educations to meet the requirements for MA DESE license renewal, workshops will be designed and facilitated winter and/or spring 2026, in order to meet the following requirements: At least 15 PDPs related to training in strategies for effective schooling for students with disabilities and instruction of students with diverse learning styles.</p> <p>If you are interested in an opportunity to develop and facilitate a course that satisfies the above requirements, please apply through School Spring. Courses must focus on Brockton's instructional priorities - positive relationships, effective instruction, and active reading and writing.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications: 1.Teaching or administrator license from the MA DESE in Special Education. 2.Successful experience working with students who receive Special Education services. 3.Experience leading professional development, facilitating adult teams in professional learning capacities, or teaching adults in a similar environment. 4.Demonstrated skills in communication, organization, and team building.</p> <p>Responsibilities: 1.Design Extending the Learning Course for educators from different grade levels and content areas 2.Design Extending the Learning Course to be engaging and that provides for interaction and collaboration 3.Design Extending the Learning Course with an opportunity for teacher application of content 4.Deliver Extending the Learning Course to participants and maintain ongoing communication with course participants. 5.Manage and maintain participant attendance and end of course requirements through Power School Professional Learning platform, to ensure the awarding of PDPs.</p> <p>Compensation: According to contract - Up to 30 hours to develop course and 15 hours to deliver course.</p> <p>Fund Code to be Charged: Professional Development</p> <p>INTERESTED PERSONNEL SHOULD APPLY THROUGH SCHOOL SPRING NO LATER THAN March 17, 2026.
