The Supervisor oversees all aspects of Pharmacy Technician duties within the Pharmacy Department. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor is responsible for the department and overseeing the onboarding and training of newly hired pharmacy technicians and pharmacy clerks. The Supervisor is a working supervisor and is expected to assist in performing daily pharmacy technician duties. They are responsible for insuring compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations regarding inspections of medication areas as well as compliance with other surveying organizations.</p> <p>Pharmacy Technician Supervisor-Ambulatory Position Requirements</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required. </li></ul> <p>License and/or certification:</p> <ul> <li>Registered by the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Maryland and must follow all regulations as per those regulations. </li><li>Certification through accredited National Certification Board (PTCB or NHA) </li><li>Valid driver's license and verification of insurability under TidalHealth automobile insurance plan. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in an ambulatory our outpatient pharmacy setting strongly preferred </li><li>Leadership experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Pharmacy Technician Supervisor-Ambulatory Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Day and Evening shifts </li><li>Works alternating "every third" weekends, as needed. </li><li>May have to work beyond the normal scheduled hours, considered on-call. </li><li>Periodic travel between ambulatory locations is required </li></ul> <p>Pharmacy Technician Supervisor-Ambulatory Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.</p> </li><li> <p>Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union.</p> </li></ul>
