<p>JOB SUMMARY:           Student employment is offered in a variety of departments and programs throughout the college and at each of the outreach centers. Students are employed in a variety of entry-level capacities.</p> <p> </p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks): </p> <ul> <li>Perform a variety of manual and non-manual entry level work as directed by the student supervisor.  </li><li>Operate within the guidelines set forth in the College's policies, procedures and practices. </li><li>Perform other reasonably related duties as directed or assigned. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p> </p> <p>Education:      Student employment eligibility is contingent upon enrollment at CWC in a minimum of 12 credits each semester for full-time students and 6 credits for part-time students. Course loads will be periodically checked. For summer employment, students must have completed a minimum of six credit hours in the preceding spring semester, and be enrolled in at least 1 credit in the summer session or have been accepted and enrolled in at least six credit hours in the upcoming fall semester.</p> <p>Experience:     None required.</p> <p> </p> <p>Equivalency Statement:        Equivalent combinations of education, experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired may be considered on a case-by-case basis.</p> <p>Licenses/Certifications:         None required.</p> <p> </p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:            </p> <ul> <li>Varies depending on position assigned.  </li><li>Ability to arrive to work on-time. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. </li><li>Ability to work with a diverse group of people. </li><li>Ability to follow directions. </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>LEVEL OF SUPERVISION: Work is performed under the direct supervision of a student supervisor.</p> <p>Student Employees can work a maximum of 19 hours per week while classes are in session.</p> <p> </p>
