We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. In this role, you will be involved in developing and implementing audio algorithms that will enable advanced diagnostics for Tesla products. You will also collaborate with our manufacturing and audit teams to seamlessly integrate your algorithms into our production processes.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and implement audio algorithms that will enable advanced diagnostics for Tesla products</p> </li><li> <p>Design and develop automated data generation pipelines that create various high quality ground truth data for real-world perception problems</p> </li><li> <p>Deploy and scale your work across millions of Tesla vehicles worldwide</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with our manufacturing and audit teams to seamlessly integrate your algorithms into our production processes</p> </li><li> <p>Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree</p> </li><li> <p>Strong experience with Python, C++, and software engineering best practices</p> </li><li> <p>An "under the hood" knowledge of deep learning: layer details, loss functions, optimization, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in sound event detection and sound event classification</p> </li><li> <p>Fluency with common neural network architectures for audio event detection and classification</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with PyTorch, or another major deep learning framework such as TensorFlow</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with data manipulation tools including jupyter notebooks, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, Python & Bash scripting, Linux environment</p> </li><li> <p>Record of driving research projects from start to end, including conception, experimentation, iteration, and integration into a working product</p> </li></ul>
