Be the difference.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Plans, develops and organizes the activities of the clinical staff, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of quality health care.</p> <p>Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assists physicians with examinations, procedures and other activities related to direct patient care. Fields and directs clinical telephone calls. - 15%</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in the assessment of clinical staffing needs by maintaining a master work schedule, adjusting staffing levels and forecasting staffing needs. - 15%</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and conducts orientation and in service training for clinical staff. - 10%</p> </li><li> <p>Develops, implements and maintains emergency preparedness plan. - 10%</p> </li><li> <p>Serves as chief liaison between the clinical staff and physicians. - 5%</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with development and maintenance of quality improvement by reviewing incident reports, patient complaints and suggestions, current practices and actions taken. Develops and conducts programs for enhancing patient satisfaction. - 15%</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors local, state and federal regulations affecting operations and assists with the development, implementation and monitoring of appropriate policies and procedures. - 10%</p> </li><li> <p>Contacts vendors for repair or routine service of medical equipment. Forwards proposals/quotes to Office Supervisor for approval. - 5%</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains adequate levels of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. - 5%</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for adherence to DEA, DHEC and other regulatory agency policies and procedures for ordering, dispensing, storing and disposing of pharmaceuticals. - 5%</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees physician's office schedule. - 5%</p> </li></ul> <p>Supervisory/Management Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or GED preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>3 years of experience in clinical field of certification.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses</p> <ul> <li>Certification or licensure in one or more of the following: </li><li>South Carolina LPN license </li><li>OR- Radio-logic Technologist (ARRT) </li><li>OR- Limited Practice Radiologic Technologist </li><li>OR- General, Medical Laboratory Technician </li><li>OR- Certified Surgical Technician </li><li>OR- Registered Respiratory Technician </li><li>OR- Medical Assistant certification including: CMA (AAMA); RMA (AMT); CCMA(NHA); NCMA (NCCT); RMA (ARMA); NRCMA (NAHP); or RMA (AAMP) </li></ul> <p>(Certification must be maintained throughout employment in role.
