<p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Lead selected accounting department tasks and drive process improvement initiatives. </li><li>Oversee special project-related reporting and analysis in collaboration with FP&A. </li><li>Effectively engage with and present to Senior Leadership on strategic projects and initiatives. </li><li>Demonstrate a growth mindset with strong curiosity and proactive approach to career development. </li><li>Ensure proper functioning of accounting systems and accurate management of master data. </li><li>Manage the month-end closing process across all SAP modules and relevant stakeholders. </li><li>Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for Niterra North America. </li><li>Prepare quarterly consolidated financial reports for Niterra North America. </li><li>Monitor daily postings to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. </li><li>Coordinate with other locations to ensure timely and accurate period-end closings. </li><li>Analyze financial statements and provide explanations for variances. </li><li>Oversee departmental activities and support the Accounting Manager in preparation for JSox audits, year-end audits, and quarterly reviews for Niterra North America and Niterra Canada. </li><li>Download monthly data from Business Intelligence (BI), upload into BPC, and verify accuracy for Niterra North America, Reynosa, and Niterra Canada. </li><li>Manage and maintain accurate master data in BPC for Niterra North America, Reynosa and Niterra Canada. </li><li>Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with other accounting team members. </li><li>Provide training and support to team members as needed. </li><li>Complete any special projects as assigned by management. </li><li>Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, QMS, J-Sox, and safety-related policies. </li></ul> <p>Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting </li><li>3-4 years of experience at a Big 4 CPA firm </li><li>5+ years of experience in the automotive and/or manufacturing industry </li><li>3+ years of hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; SAP preferred </li><li>Familiarity with Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) tools preferred </li><li>Strong technical accounting expertise, with the ability to apply complex accounting standards </li><li>Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) preferred </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace </li><li>Skilled in analyzing financial data, identify issues, and recommending effective solutions </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments </li></ul>
