<p>The Iowa Veterans Home is looking for full-time Resident Aide for the Medical Clinic. Scheduled hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.</p> <p>Duties include but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assist residents to attend appointments in the Medical Clinic and Rehab Services. </li><li>Follows all established procedures for safe resident escorting including proper position in wheelchairs, use of safety devices, and mode of transportation. </li><li>Assist with coordination of escorting schedule to accommodate unit/resident needs. Helps with notification of unit when appts are ahead/behind schedule to help maintain the flow of appts. </li><li>Monitor equipment and supplies used and enter supply orders to maintain par levels as needed.
