We are a diverse, nimble, fast-paced team driven by entrepreneurial spirit. Our talented product and development teams combine deep user understanding with collaborative empowerment to create a new era of experiences across wearables, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and cloud services.</p> <p>As a UX Researcher you will plan and execute research studies that inform product decisions and uncover new opportunities for innovation. This position operates on a hybrid schedule in our downtown Chicago office and is onsite 3 days per week.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and conduct evaluative research studies including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and field research </li><li>Manage end-to-end research operations: recruit participants, coordinate logistics, and oversee data collection and analysis </li><li>Advocate for user needs at every stage, ensuring that interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and engaging </li><li>Lead prototyping, user testing, and data-driven iteration to continuously enhance product engagement and usability </li><li>Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights and communicate them through reports, presentations, and workshops </li><li>Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to inform product decisions and inspire new design directions </li><li>Support exploratory research initiatives that investigate future user needs and emerging technology opportunities </li><li>Apply AI tools to enhance research efficiency and uncover deeper insights </li><li>Create learning experiments to test core assumptions and de-risk new designs </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Design Research, or related field </li><li>1 year of Design Research experience </li><li>1 year of Experience using AI tools to enhance user research processes </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of Design Research Experience </li><li>2+ years of Experience Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance user research processes </li><li>Working knowledge of UX design principles and ability to contribute meaningfully to design discussions </li><li>Genuine curiosity about AI, emerging technologies, and their impact on human behavior </li><li>Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills with attention to detail </li><li>Master's degree or above in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Design Research or related field is a plus </li></ul> <p>The base salary budgeted range for this position is $85-100k.
