<p>Job Functions:</p> <p>This strategic, results-driven individual, will be responsible for leading Accounting, financial planning, and financial performance for the Haws brand. As a key business partner, this role works closely with onsite teams and corporate leadership to drive financial strategy, ensure strong financial performance, and support long-term business objectives for Haws.</p> <p>This position is responsible for the full P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow of the global Haws organization, based primarily in the U.S. (Sparks, Nevada), with subsidiaries in Brazil, Europe, and APAC.</p> <p>This position reports to Senior Director, Finance. This role is onsite and is based in Sparks, NV.</p> <p>Other Job Duties:</p> <p>Accounting & Policy</p> <ul> <li>Ownership of Accounting organization, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry review, and intercompany transactions, in alignment with corporate policies. </li><li>Ensure compliance with Audit requirements, Internal controls, and Watts policies. Monitor risks and implement appropriate controls. </li></ul> <p>Business Partnership</p> <ul> <li>Partner with brand leadership to drive financial improvements related to operational costs, pricing, and organic sales growth. </li></ul> <p>Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual results. </li></ul> <p>FP&A</p> <ul> <li>Lead the forecasting, annual planning, and long-range strategic planning processes for the Haws brand. </li><li>Direct the preparation of operating budgets, capital budgets, and cash flow projections. Prepare and present to brand leadership, corporate finance, and the Board, as required. </li><li>Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis for key business initiatives, including new product development and operational improvements. </li></ul> <p>Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Drive a culture of continuous improvement, both for your team and more broadly across the organization. </li><li>Coach and Develop the Haws finance team to thoroughness, accuracy, and continuous improvement mindset. </li><li>Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Sr Director, Finance or Company management. </li><li>Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency) </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Skills/Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in financial decision-making within a manufacturing or industrial environment is critical for success, including inventory accounting and product costing. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; in the absence of a degree, relevant work experience may be considered. </li><li>Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting leadership roles, leading monthly GL close, FP&A/Budgeting, and forecasting processes. </li><li>Experience performing financial analysis and financial modeling to support business planning and operational decisions. </li><li>Effective knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting practices. </li><li>Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel. </li><li>Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures. </li><li>Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including criminal background check, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. </li><li>CPA or other relevant professional certification. </li><li>Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles. </li><li>Experience supporting strategic initiatives such as new product development, pricing strategy, or market expansion. </li><li>Experience working in a matrixed organizational environment. </li></ul> <p>General Applicable Company Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Commitment to Watts' values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency. </li><li>Punctuality and dependability. </li><li>Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions. </li><li>Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts. </li><li>Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with all employees. </li><li>Adherence to Watts' seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Sparks, NV location (Monday - Friday).
