Come see for yourself!</p> <p>As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. Advanced imaging skills and techniques would be demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the following advanced imaging applications:</p> <ul> <li>MR Angiography (MRA) - cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR, peripheral vascular/PVMR, and or neurovascular - EPI applications: DWI, PWI, DTI , ASL </li><li>MR Spectroscopy (MRS) - Brain, or Breast, or Prostate </li><li>MR Enterography, MR Defecography and MR Prostate with endo-rectal coil </li><li>Interventional MR - MR Guided fine needle breast and or prostate biopsies </li><li>Functional MR (fMRI) - Brain </li><li>Therapeutic MR (HiFu) - Fibroid tumors </li></ul> <p>You will be expected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization.</p> <ul> <li>Should you not meet the experience standards required for a senior position, you may be considered for a Staff MRI Technologist position.* </li></ul> <p>Staff Technologist: $49.73 - $65.56 per hour</p> <p>Senior Technologist: $52.18 - $68.16 per hour</p> <p>Salary Range: $49.73 - $68.86 Hourly</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <p>Please ensure your resume includes a list of all relevant certifications and licenses.</p> <ul> <li>3 years MRI Experience - required </li><li>Licenses </li><li>A combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) - required </li><li>Venipuncture certificate - required </li><li>BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required </li><li>Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required </li><li>AA or BS - preferred </li><li>Siemens experience - preferred </li><li>Demonstrates competence in modifying protocols as required producing optimal diagnostic images. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to train additional MR staff in addition to performing the advanced procedures without direction themselves </li><li>You will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health </li></ul> <p>As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct; have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of misconduct with a previous employer.</p>
