<p>Our Kforce client located in Lexington, MA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their company. This role is onsite.</p> <p>Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting career as you will work closely with the Corporate Controller, gaining exposure to various accounting functions. You will be involved in accounts payable, accounts receivable, the month-end closing process, reconciling accounts, and assisting with the annual audit. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in financial reporting and compliance.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Senior Accountant will manage accounts payable, ensure timely payment to vendors </li><li>Accounts receivable, create/send invoices to customers & apply customer receipts </li><li>Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports </li><li>Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes </li><li>Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts </li><li>Prepare and post journal entries timely and accurately </li><li>As a Senior Accountant, you will assist with financial audits </li><li>Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting </li><li>Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and year-end close </li><li>General Ledger maintenance </li><li>Aduit support </li><li>Account reconciliation </li><li>Expense reporting </li><li>Tax Preparation </li><li>Financial Analysis - analyzing financial data and providing insights </li><li>Work closely with other departments and support cross-functional projects </li><li>Reports to Controller* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance </li><li>2+ years of accounting experience </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Excellent accounting software </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Proficient communication skills both written and verbal </li><li>Self-starter attitude </li><li>Team player </li><li>Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in financial reporting and compliance </li></ul> <p>Company Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>Small, growing company acquired June 2024; SaaS integrated workplace software product (largest client base is VA hospitals and are branching out into the private space) </li><li>This is a great role for someone looking for exposure and be hands-on; The team is the Controller and Senior Accountant - make the role your own/help build out the department, process improvements, no red tape, etc. </li><li>Unlimited PTO </li></ul>
