With our trusted brands like Persil, 'all, Loctite, Snuggle, and Schwarzkopf and our cutting-edge technologies, you'll have countless opportunities to explore new paths and grow.</p> <p>This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit - where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.</p> <p>Dare to learn new skills, advance in your career and make an impact at Henkel.</p> <p>What you´ll do</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and test adhesive formulations in accordance with established guidelines, working independently or in collaboration with chemists, scientists and technical staff. </li><li>Read and follow work instructions and safety data sheets (SDS) related to sample preparation, formulating adhesives and sample testing. </li><li>Employ basic problem-solving skills to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates. </li><li>Accurately document test data in laboratory information systems. Communicates basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcomes. </li><li>Utilize various computer systems to perform work and write internal and external final test reports. </li><li>Use a variety of curing and dispensing equipment. </li><li>Maintain calibration of laboratory instruments regularly to ensure reliability </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment and support safe work practices, including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc. </li><li>Performs additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>What makes you a good fit</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of an associate's degree in chemistry, biology or any science field. Preferred bachelor's degree in chemistry, science, engineering or a science field. </li><li>Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical and mechanical data. </li><li>Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. </li><li>Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a proactive, detail-oriented approach, supported by strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. </li><li>Understanding of mathematical and statistical techniques relevant to adhesive product testing. </li><li>Solid interpersonal skills. This range reflects the good-faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting.? This role is classified as non-exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees in this position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms of compensation, depending on role and location. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate's skills, experience, training, certifications, and work location.
