<p>Position Summary At Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute, our renowned cardiologists, heart and vascular surgeons, and cardiovascular professionals work together to provide award-winning care in 40 specialties, using the latest in diagnostic imaging and treatment options. Our multidisciplinary team includes more than 70 physicians in 24 locations across Central Florida, spanning Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Highlands and Okeechobee counties. As a part of Orlando Health, the Heart and Vascular Institute includes a network of community and specialty hospitals with more than 4,000 providers. Orlando Health | Choose Well Position Summary This position is dedicated to the Structural Heart Program encompassing MitraClip, Triclip, Transcatheter Aortic and Mitral Valve Replacement, and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion. This position is focused in the ambulatory setting while ensuring seamless patient progression and management across both ambulatory and inpatient environments. Ideal candidates have Cardiology experience, with a background in Structural Heart, Interventional Cardiology, EP, or CVOR preferred. Critical thinking, relationship building, self-drive, and efficient time management are necessary for this role. Other Related Functions • Plan and coordinates process improvement activities. • Functions as the corporate liaison between Administration, medical staff, and team members. • Responsible for staff development, identification of risk management issues, policies, guidelines, safety, and infection control issues and monitoring of staff attendance at mandatory meetings. • Compiles, analyzes, and interprets data. • Proficient in building interpersonal relationships through the use of excellent communication skills and team building strategies. • The clinical coordinator is able to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Qualifications Education/Training • Graduate from an approved school of nursing, bachelor's degree or higher from an approved program in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or Speech therapy. • Associate degree or graduate from an accredited two-year college program in Physical Therapist Assistant / Occupational therapist Assistant. Licensure/Certification Current RN, SLP-CCC, PT, PTA, or OT, or COTA license in the state of Florida.
