<p>14673BR</p> <p>FTE: 0.6</p> <p>Shift: Straight nights (23-0730) every other weekend and holiday</p> <p>Compensation: Commensurate with experience</p> <p>Hours Per Week: 24</p> <p>Weekends: Some</p> <p>Benefit Eligible</p> <p>The Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Security Officer works under the direction of the Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Nurse Manager to ensure the safety of patients, families, visitors, and staff persons at the free-standing facility. Safety is ensured through systematic monitoring of the facility and grounds and through interactions with individuals within the facility, many of whom have increased levels of anxiety contributing to behavior that may be intractable. Interactions involving physical holds occur under the direction of the nurse and utilize the principles of Care, Welfare, Safety and Security as taught in Crisis Prevention Institute's Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Program.
