<p>Franklin C</p> <p>Franklin County Schools</p> <p>652 Chamberlin Avenue</p> <p>Frankfort, KY 40601</p> <p>(502) 695-6700</p> <p>JOB TITLE</p> <p>RTI Behavior Interventionist</p> <p>REPORTS TO</p> <p>Principal</p> <p>SALARY SCHEDULE/GRADE</p> <p>Certified Salary Schedule</p> <p>CONTRACTED DAYS AND/OR HOURS</p> <p>EXEMPT STATUS</p> <p>Exempt</p> <p>JOB CLASS CODE</p> <p>2210</p> <p>POSITION CLASSIFICATION</p> <p>Certified</p> <p>DATE APPROVED</p> <p>June 12, 2023</p> <p>BASIC FUNCTION</p> <p>Support and coach at the school and classroom levels in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of Response to Intervention.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Assists school administrators in implementation of behavior RTI.</p> <p>Monitors school and classroom use of behavior RTI for continuous improvement.</p> <p>Serves as a member of Student Success Teams (SST), District RTI Advisory, Behavior Interventionist PLCs, school-wide Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Team, and Safe Crisis Management (SCM) Core Team.</p> <p>Reviews data to ensure interventions match deficit area(s).</p> <p>Implements evidence-based interventions/programs with fidelity.</p> <p>Assists school and district personnel in adherence to timelines.</p> <p>Observes classroom teachers' implementation of intervention including fidelity of implementation.</p> <p>Provides training for teachers and/or paraprofessionals on how to implement evidence-based interventions with fidelity in the classrooms.</p> <p>Assists teachers and administrators in maintaining and analyzing on-going progress-monitoring data.</p> <p>Facilitates the implementation and reporting of progress-monitoring data including Universal screeners.</p> <p>Assists teachers and administrators with the interpretation of data in regards to placement and movement of students within tiers.</p> <p>Monitors and reviews individual student behavior RTI records.</p> <p>Provides interventions to small groups and/or one-on-one instructional settings.</p> <p>Assists with document management of referrals for individual evaluation.</p> <p>Communicates needs of the RTI program to the proper personnel.</p> <p>Keeps in confidence information obtained in the course of professional service, unless disclosure serves professional purpose or is required by law.</p> <p>Serves as a resource for administration and teachers in regards to appropriate and effective interventions and strategies.</p> <p>Maintains professional competency through professional learning activities and/or other appropriate professional growth activities.</p> <p>Adheres to Professional Code of Ethics as established by the Education Professional Standards Board.</p> <p>Attends Safe Crisis Management training and any other required behavior training as directed by district office.</p> <p>Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.</p> <p>Knowledge Of:</p> <ul> <li>Research findings and recent trends in behavior RTI </li><li>Proven expertise in implementing positive behavior interventions and evidence-based strategy </li><li>Ability to communicate knowledge effectively to others </li><li>Ability to develop certified and classified staff professionally through effective coaching strategies </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Three years teaching experience </li><li>Approved certification with State of Kentucky </li></ul> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT</p> <p>Salary and work year to be established by the Board of Education.</p> <p>EVALUATION</p> <p>Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of board policy for certified evaluation.</p>
