We are looking for individuals who thrive in a supportive and rewarding environment professionally and personally.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <p>As the ADON at Mountain Vista, you will collaborate with the Skilled Care DON to lead a team of RN, LPNs and CNAs. Together you will have oversight of the daily clinical and administrative operations of the skilled nursing department to assure that each resident receives the necessary care and services to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with the resident's comprehensive assessment and person-centered care plan.</p> <p>In your work you will partner closely with local and corporate leadership, including collaboration with our Skilled Care and Assisted Living nursing teams.</p> <p>What you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Current, unencumbered, RN license with the State Board of Nursing in Colorado or current compact state license required </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of clinical and supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, with geriatric setting experience strongly preferred </li><li>Ability to demonstrate positive attitude, emotional maturity to effectively communicate and interact with residents, families and co-workers. </li><li>Requires strong critical thinking skills, independent judgment, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments. </li><li>Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care. </li><li>Demonstrated competencies in health care management and operations, quality management, staff development, and resident and family support systems. </li></ul> <p>Who We Are:</p> <p>We Care!
