If you're hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there's only one choice.</p> <p>Operations Associate II</p> <p>Operations Associate is responsible for executing daily operations and working with internal groups to design, execute and oversee the North America Plant Breeding's Research and Development efforts.</p> <p>YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain accountability for safe and timely delivery of quality supply based on production schedules while maintaining an efficient operation. Perform duties in a manner that support overall site Key Metrics to include Safety; Quality, on-time and in-full delivery, and cost efficiency</p> </li><li> <p>Organize and execute upon research protocols and operational plans for site's day-to-day priorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the implementation of unique and innovative technology solutions designed to improve research design and operations success through the use of new tools and methodologies to improve overall plant breeding.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle the operation of research equipment, note taking, data management with internal IT systems, comply with regulated seed stewardship standards, complete and/or participate in safety inspections/training and comply with all policies and standard operating procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Organize and execute day-to-day priorities of the site either independently or as the leader of a small team.</p> </li><li> <p>Train team members and seasonal employees on standard operating procedures, site and operation safety guidelines, and tool operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a point of influence within organization, supporting projects/initiatives at hub, working independently, proficient in particular areas, solid network, provide innovative solutions, possesses technical abilities, plan/direct/coordinate activities of others.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accountably for business unit or project results through leadership and coordination across site strategy, prioritize and monitor projects to ensure completion within deadlines and budgets.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to activities within the surrounding community to foster positive community relations and outreach efforts.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure visibility and resolution of production pipeline challenges</p> </li><li> <p>Engage with site leadership to ensure aligned vision for optimal future state and reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate subject matter expertise and autonomy in task execution. Proficiency across multiple machine platforms, tools, technologies, and workflows. Use initiative; take action in the absence of direction.</p> </li></ul> <p>WHO YOU ARE</p> <p>Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:</p> <p>Required qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Valid Drivers License. In order to be eligible to drive a company car, your driving record must meet guidelines based on the company's Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers - MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work long hours and rotational shifts, including over-time, weekend and holiday as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds, work in greenhouse environment and walk on uneven surfaces</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li></ul> <p>Employees can expect to be paid a salary between INSERT RANGE.
