<p>GA position includes tuition scholarship up to 18 credit hours (9 hrs. each semester at in-state tuition rate) for the 2025-2026 academic year.</p> <p>We are looking for a graduate assistant for the Professional Development Schools Consortium (PDS) to:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with meeting and retreat preparation </li><li>Mentor undergraduate PDS student representatives </li><li>Oversee and create information boards </li><li>Engage in research with faculty </li><li>Compile and edit newsletter </li></ul> <p>The assistant may, under the direction of the Dean's Office, be asked to serve as a student representative on teacher education related committees.</p> <p>The position requires 20 hours per week.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Current or entering full-time (6 credit hours) matriculated graduate student at Buffalo State University. Demonstrate knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Office programs. Demonstrate ability to successfully navigate and communicate on web-based platforms. Demonstrate knowledge and use of various social media programs. Demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills, especially the ability to write clearly and effectively. Demonstrate ability to work well in a collaborative professional higher education office.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Experience writing articles, descriptive essays, and/or reports. Experience using graphic design programs such as the Adobe Creative Suite.
