<p>The Hearing Scheduler - Junior has responsibility for contacting and scheduling hearing representatives. Once scheduled, the Hearing Coordinator must relay pertinent information to internal office personnel within very strict timeframes.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Contact hearing representatives via phone to discuss hearing schedules, hearing representative availability and hearing representative fees</p> </li><li> <p>Use a basic database to input and extract information using a set of program commands</p> </li><li> <p>Access alphabetized information from various representative directories</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain detailed logs of phone contacts and phone conversations via input on a PC</p> </li><li> <p>Verify all work processed to ensure timely handling and that the work is complete and accurate</p> </li><li> <p>Act in a courteous and professional manner in performing job functions</p> </li><li> <p>Attend work on a regular basis</p> </li><li> <p>Accomplish clerical procedures necessary to accomplish the essential functions of the position</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to process billing in a timely manner for accounting</p> </li></ul> <p>What experience you need</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous office experience with an emphasis on customer service</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in dealing with dated materials and/or strict adherence to time limits</p> </li><li> <p>Microsoft Excel (Spreadsheet software) and Microsoft Word (Word Processing software) or Google Suite applications</p> </li><li> <p>Basic understanding of PC functions</p> </li></ul> <p>What could set you apart</p> <ul> <li> <p>Preferred experience in scheduling/organizing tasks</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to listen, comprehend and actively participate in telephone conversations</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to detail and good organization skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Clear, pleasant speaking voice</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read, learn and retain state regulations, PC functions and department procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to use the keyboard to input, access, view and interpret data on a PC</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to evaluate the information to make independent decisions</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Organization of work duties and performing job functions independently</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-BJ1</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p>
