<p>Dining Room Supervisor, The Immigrant Restaurant</p> <p>Work Mode: Onsite</p> <p>Location: Kohler, WI</p> <p>Opportunity</p> <p>The Dining Room Supervisor of The Immigrant Room provides support to the restaurant management team through a variety of administrative and operational tasks and additional oversight of front of the house restaurant staff. Manage guest requests, complaints and questions and ensure that all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership.</p> <p>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support management with daily administrative tasks including but not limited to purchasing, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, records control and filing.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately process all new hire and employee change paperwork in a timely manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Reconcile all operational paperwork including but not limited to guest receipts and vendor invoices.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with staff and management team to ensure proper cost controls and inventory levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Greet guests and present them with the menu, informing them about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.</p> </li><li> <p>Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell.</p> </li><li> <p>Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system.</p> </li><li> <p>Process payment transactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with questions.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with food and beverage service per the course of order.</p> </li><li> <p>Observe guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.</p> </li><li> <p>Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table (must be 18 or over and licensed).</p> </li><li> <p>Understand and communicate products and services available at the resort.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station.</p> </li><li> <p>Help other areas of the restaurant.</p> </li><li> <p>Training restaurant front of house staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with supervising the dining room flow and ensuring proper distribution of assigned stations.</p> </li><li> <p>Resolve escalated guest concerns.</p> </li><li> <p>Create and execute special projects and assignments.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in answering telephone calls from guests.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform the responsibilities of Servers, Bartenders, and Host/ess as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Cross-trained to work in more than one outlet.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills/Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Safe Serve certified or ability to obtain certification. </li><li>3+ years experience in restaurant preferred. </li><li>Supervisory experience in a restaurant setting preferred. </li><li>At least 1 year of bartending experience highly preferred </li><li>Must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pound </li></ul> <p>The hourly range for this position is $16.25 - $20.30. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
