<p>Job Title: Swim Instructor, Jim & Heather Gills Branch YMCA</p> <p>Description: The Y is the nation's largest provider of swim lessons, dedicated to improving water safety and swimming skills for all ages. As a part-time Swim Instructor, you'll provide direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for participants in our swim classes.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Teach swimming and water safety skills to students of varying ages and ability levels, from Parent/Child to Adult classes. </li><li>Instruct students in swimming and exercise fundamentals in accordance with YMCA standards. </li><li>Ensure proper technique, appropriate use of equipment, and a safe, engaging learning environment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 16 years of age. </li><li>Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. </li><li>Comfortable working with participants of all ages and skill levels. </li><li>Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid, and Swim Instructor training are a plus. </li><li>In-house training is available for qualified candidates. </li><li>Ability to demonstrate proper swim instruction techniques and safely lift equipment and small-to-average-size children. </li></ul> <p>Pay & Perks: $15.00-$20.00/hour.
