<p>The D'Aniello IVMF is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Entrepreneurship & Small Business team to support the portfolio's recurring programs and operations. Key responsibilities include assisting in the procurement, management and shipment of inventory and equipment; supporting the larger portfolio of programs, to include the Boots to Business program, in compiling data and narrative information for grant reports; assisting in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and other resource documents; and training teammates in data systems.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Two (2) plus years of professional experience. </li><li>Experience with procurement of goods, inventory management and shipment of inventory. </li><li>Prior experience working with active duty, veteran, and military families preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Personal discipline to successfully support multiple, concurrent projects; can meet deadlines with competing demands and requirements. </li><li>Strong communicator with excellent writing skills. </li><li>Strong organization skills with experience in creating and maintaining systems and structure. </li><li>Experience creating and maintaining resource documents, and identifying areas of improvement. </li><li>Preference given to those with a military service connection, or who have worked with veteran, military, and/or family stakeholders, universities or think-tanks, and familiarity with related government programs and services for veterans, families, and related civilian human services programs. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Portfolio Logistics, Inventory and Budget</p> <ul> <li>Support the procurement, organization, labeling, and management of the portfolio's inventory. </li><li>Assist in maintaining portfolio's inventory list by category, current stock, and upcoming event or conference requirements. </li><li>Serve as key member of the conference team including managing receipt of inventory and return shipments to and from event sites. </li><li>Identify areas of improvement in cataloging and tracking inventory, organization in dedicated storage facility, and shipment procedures. </li><li>Assist with logistics of program portfolio to include trackers for flights, honoraria, speakers, etc. for virtual and in-person programs. </li><li>Assist with portfolio budget by maintaining a real-time expense tracking system for all program(s) expenses, and projected expenses, in real time. </li><li>Train teammates in data systems. </li></ul> <p>Boots to Business Support</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Boots to Business Program Manager to support program to include scheduling and confirmation of OCONUS training cohorts with base personnel. </li><li>Maintain a real time, current listing of installation points of contact in 35 locations in 7 countries. </li><li>Provide travel agency with applicable schedule of workshop dates and coordinate the communication between travel agent and the instructor. </li><li>Review and approve all travel in accordance with US Code, SBA guidelines, and Syracuse University travel policies. </li><li>Input instructors travel vouchers. </li><li>Respond to questions and concerns from POCs/instructors prior to workshops. </li><li>Reconcile monthly procard statements, and track within larger B2B Budget. </li></ul> <p>Standard Operating Procedures and Resource Documents</p> <ul> <li>Work with Project Manager, Entrepreneurship & Small Business, to review portfolio Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other resource documents on quarterly basis, and provide comments and recommendations to portfolio leadership. </li><li>Assist in the development and management of new SOP. </li><li>Recognize gaps in supportive documents and assist in their development and management. </li><li>Maintain repository of portfolio SOP and resource documents. </li><li>Work with program leads to create the needed documentation to be used within the project management platform. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>Not Applicable</p> <p>Tools/Equipment</p> <p>Not Applicable</p> <p>Application Instructions</p> <p>In addition to completing an online application, please attach a resume and cover letter.</p>
