This role is responsible for driving referrals, evaluations, and placements of Speech Generating Devices (SGDs) through direct engagement with referral sources, patients, and interdisciplinary care teams.</p> <p>This is a highly field-driven position, requiring 5 days per week in the field calling on referral sources, conducting evaluations, and supporting patient care. The territory includes a diverse mix of referral sources such as:</p> <ul> <li>Hospital-based rehabilitation centers </li><li>Outpatient therapy clinics </li><li>School systems </li><li>Specialty physician practices </li><li>Community-based healthcare providers </li></ul> <p>Candidates should be based within the territory and comfortable with daily local travel and in-field engagement.</p> <ul> <li>-- </li></ul> <p>Job Purpose</p> <p>The primary function is to achieve and exceed sales and placement goals for AAC devices through:</p> <ul> <li>Marketing, in-services, and education </li><li>Clinical evaluations and device recommendations </li><li>Relationship development with referral sources </li><li>Ongoing patient and caregiver support </li></ul> <p>All responsibilities must be performed in compliance with company policies, accreditation standards, and HIPAA regulations.</p> <ul> <li>-- </li></ul> <p>General Expectations</p> <ol> <li> <p>Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with all company policies, procedures, patient protocols, and regulatory requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain current knowledge of AAC products, software, and payer guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate strong time management and accountability for results in a field-based role</p> </li></ol> <ul> <li>-- </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Territory & Field Activity</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a full-time field presence (5 days per week) within assigned territory </li><li>Conduct daily in-person visits with referral sources and patients </li><li>No designated office day; administrative work is to be managed around field responsibilities </li><li>-- </li></ul> <p>Sales & Clinical Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct AAC evaluations and recommend appropriate speech-generating devices </li><li>Perform product demonstrations, in-services, and clinical education </li><li>Coordinate delivery, setup, and training of devices </li><li>Follow up with patients and caregivers to ensure successful use of equipment </li><li>Promote products and services through ongoing, in-person engagement </li><li>-- </li></ul> <p>Pipeline & WIP Management</p> <ul> <li>Own and manage all Work-In-Progress (WIP) cases from referral through delivery </li><li>Ensure timely progression of: </li></ul> <p>o Referrals ? Evaluations ? Orders ?
