Apply today!</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Mental Health Technician (MHT) is responsible for primarily serving as a one-to-one observer for assigned patients while securing and maintaining a safe environment for the patient under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). When not assigned to the observer role Patient Care Technician duties may be delegated to the MHT. This position reports to the Workforce Management Manager.</p> <p>Education/Experince:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement </li><li>One year work experience with children and adolescents seeking psychiatric treatment preferred. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Medical Assistant (MA) certification, or one of the following: </li><li>A nursing student or LPN who has completed fundamental nursing skills coursework </li><li>An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification </li></ul> <p>Other Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Complete hospital-provided de-escalation training program within 6 months of hire. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: Minimum $18.39/hour - Maximum $18.39/hour.
