<p>JOB TITLE: Clinical Manager</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:</p> <p>Responsible for supervising and directing nursing care in all clinical areas of the facility according to its policies and procedures. Coordinates and directs patient care and related activities of the facility</p> <p>according to accepted standards. Shares responsibility for the fiscal activities of the clinical services. Analyzes and evaluates nursing care to improve quality of care given. Works closely with administrative and medical staff in coordinating patient-care service functions. May assume responsibilities for Administrator in his or her absence.</p> <p>This position supervises nurses, operating room technicians, radiology technicians, first assistants, scrub assistants, instrument technicians, endoscopy technicians, patient care technicians, housekeeping staff and contract employees in the clinical area.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Effectively organizes time, equipment, supplies, and personnel. </li><li>Maintains order and cleanliness of the clinical areas and assist Administrator in assessing the </li></ul> <p>order and cleanliness of the business office areas, lobby, and staff break room, locker rooms,</p> <p>waiting room and the exterior of the facility.</p> <ul> <li>Monitors staff scheduling according to case volume and case mix, considering patient safety, </li></ul> <p>while balancing fiscal responsibility.</p> <ul> <li>Reviews budget for clinical salaries and supplies at least monthly and strives to stay at or below </li></ul> <p>budget for these areas.</p> <ul> <li>Assists Administrator in the review of contracts and other projects as assigned </li><li>Performs the role of QAPI Coordinator, Risk Manager, and Infection Preventionist. </li><li>Ensures supplies and special equipment are available for cases as needed. </li><li>Reviews schedule for changes and special needs in an ongoing manner as needed in the absence </li></ul> <p>of department supervisors.</p> <ul> <li>Performs employee evaluations on an annual basis. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality with employees. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>RN license is required. </li><li>Must have experience in Operating Room and Pre-op/PACU. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) retirement plan with a company match </li><li>Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Health Savings Account with an employer contribution </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>PTO </li><li>And more! </li></ul> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity & Work Force Diversity</p> <p>Our organization is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, creed, sex, religion, marital status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, parental status, sexual orientation, veteran status, genetic testing results or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state or local laws.
