<p>Job Overview</p> <ul> <li>Schedule: 4 days on- 4 days off </li><li>Off Shift Differential </li><li>Paid Vacation </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Medical, Life, Dental and Vision Plans </li><li>401 (K) Program with company matching </li></ul> <p>A Day In The Life</p> <ul> <li> <p>"Paints" fibderglass rods with adhesive as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Preheats Post fiberglass rod as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Loads fiberglass rods (up to 18 feet long) into the molds to be over-molded with rubber.</p> </li><li> <p>Larger/heavier rods require the use of overhead cranes and custom manipulators.</p> </li><li> <p>Operators rubber injection molding machines to produce quality parts:</p> </li><li> <p>At the required productivity rate</p> </li><li> <p>In accordance with customer specifications</p> </li><li> <p>In accordance with Hubbell Utlity Solutions Quality Operating Principles</p> </li><li> <p>Perform 100% trim and 100% inspection of all parts</p> </li><li> <p>Identifies process issues and report them immediately to Process Techicians for correction</p> </li><li> <p>Identifies and segregates scrap when necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Completes daily paperwork including Hour-by Hour charts, part counts and other documents</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain safety, quality, production, and 5S housekeeping standards</p> </li></ul> <p>What will help you thrive in this role?</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>Basic math and computer skills </li><li>Good communication, reading, and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to work independently, as well as with others </li><li>Willingness to support other operations or departments as needed </li><li>Must be comfortable wearing a bump cap, thermal sleeves and flame-resistant jacket, in addition to standard PPE </li><li>Physical Requirements: </li><li>Must be comfortable working around hot molds/ovens </li><li>Must be comfortable handling hot parts </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly through the day </li><li>Frequent carrying of items up to 35 pounds </li><li>Gripping repeatedly with good physical dexterity </li><li>Constant walking and standing for a 12 hour shift </li><li>Reaching, pulling, bending, stooping,twisting and climbing stairs </li><li>Must be able to distinguish colors and shades, and have depth perception </li></ul> <p>Hubbell Incorporated</p> <p>Hubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
