Kalamazoo Valley Community College creates innovative and equitable opportunities that empower all to learn, grow, and thrive.</p> <p>About the Opportunity</p> <p>Kalamazoo Valley is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to support our Kalamazoo Valley Accelerated Associate Program (KVAAP). This position will provide quality administrative coordination and support to KVAAP students, working from the beginning of the pre-enrollment phase and extending through to graduation. Assistance to students would involve helping with enrollment processes, financial aid assistance and resolving any other challenges that arise during their educational careers.</p> <p>Specific Responsibilities of this Position</p> <ul> <li>Performing administrative duties including drafting documents, creating presentations, scheduling and updating policies and procedures. </li><li>Fostering multiple relationships with internal and external stakeholders to communicate the mission of KVAAP and to promote enrollment. </li><li>Creating and facilitating virtual discussions, announcements and content to encourage student engagement. Responsible for managing and tracking student engagement. </li><li>Working collaboratively with KVAAP, faculty and staff to accomplish unit goals. </li><li>Facilitating enrichment seminars for current and potential student cohorts. </li><li>Managing textbook ordering and distribution for KVAAP students. </li><li>Developing and updating course content for the learning management system utilized by KVAAP. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and skill in the following are also required</p> <ul> <li>Skill in developing and maintaining records, files and data </li><li>Skill in oral and written communication </li><li>Skill in developing business relationships </li><li>Skill in working with students </li><li>Skill in using MS Office and learning management systems </li><li>Skill in providing quality customer service </li><li>Knowledge of marketing and program promotion strategies </li><li>Knowledge of institutional policies and procedures </li><li>Knowledge of marketing strategies </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Appropriate education, training, experience and talents are required.
