<p>Tesla is hiring an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to install, inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems across its advanced manufacturing facilities. This role covers wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam, and fire hydrant systems. Candidates must be self-directed, safety-focused, and code-compliant.</p> <ul> <li>Read blueprints and NFPA specs; cut, thread, groove, and weld pipe </li><li>Install valves, hangers, fire pumps, risers, and backflow preventers </li><li>Perform wet system inspections including flow tests, valve checks, and alarm verifications </li><li>Conduct dry system tests such as trip tests, drain inspections, and air pressure checks </li><li>Handle pre-action and deluge systems with detection integration, solenoid testing, nozzle inspections, and actuation checks </li><li>Manage foam systems and hydrants through concentrate checks, proportioner testing, flow testing, and NFPA compliance </li><li>Respond to service calls, diagnose faults, coordinate with teams, complete ITM reports, and maintain tools and inventory </li><li>Nevada State Fire Marshal G-Card & I-Card (or ability to obtain) </li><li>10+ years in fire sprinkler installation and maintenance </li><li>Completion of 5-year apprenticeship preferred </li><li>Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, 25, 291 </li><li>OSHA 10 (minimum), OSHA 30 preferred; valid driver's license with clean record </li><li>Physically able to lift 50+ lbs. and work at heights; proficient in English with strong communication skills </li><li>Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal </li></ul>
