We continually strive to create an environment of trust and transparency by helping employees find a sense of purpose in their job and achieve their highest potential while providing hospitality to those who work and live at South Port Square.</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE:</p> <p>The Scheduler is responsible for the scheduling of employees within the Department.</p> <p>Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Scheduler:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates and schedules for department staff. </li><li>Ensures adequate staffing coverage for the health center, manages call outs, and maintains shift coverage to meet the mandatory requirements of the facility staffing ratios. </li><li>Reviews time off requests submitted by staff and communicates with staff in a timely manner regarding accommodations. </li><li>Post employee's schedules at minimum on a bi-weekly basis. </li><li>Communicates employee status changes to Human Resources as needed. </li><li>Assists nurse management with administrative and clerical tasks. </li><li>Tracks attendance for staff; informs management of employees who have excessive tardiness or absences. </li><li>Updates timecards with applicable corrections and ensures timecard exception forms are completed in compliance. </li><li>Approves bi-weekly timecard process for payroll. </li><li>May be required to fill in for open CNA shifts (if properly credentialed). </li></ul> <p>Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:</p> <ul> <li>High school education required. </li><li>CNA License preferred </li><li>Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, reads maps efficiently, and performs simple arithmetic. </li><li>Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with the residents and staff members at all times. </li><li>Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision. </li><li>Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling obligations. </li><li>Complies with accepted professional standards and practice. </li><li>Must be comfortable with using computers and have basic skills with computer platforms such as Word and Excel. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Work today, get paid tomorrow with DailyPay!
