MHM is an independent CPA firm that provides audit, review and attest services, while CBIZ provides, business consulting, tax and financial services.</p> <p>CBIZ Somerset is always looking for smart, ambitious, friendly people to join our offices located in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Michigan City! We are currently seeking a Client Service Specialist to provide high-level administrative support for our Tax team based in Indianapolis. You must be able to multi-task and manage workload priorities; work well with tight deadlines; and maintain a high aptitude for detailed work and possess superior customer service and interpersonal skills.</p> <p>If you would describe yourself as highly organized, self-directed, and an expert at multi-tasking, this would be the perfect role for you!</p> <p>Essential Functions and Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li>Produce, format, and edit letters and client deliverables </li><li>Utilize company software to access and save data and documents in electronic format </li><li>Communicate with internal staff to verify and finalize deliverables </li><li>Working closely with other team members to collaborate on shared tasks </li><li>Update tracking system to ensure all products are properly filed, including generating reports </li><li>Troubleshoot delivery issues with clients including software education and due dates to ensure efficient turnaround of deliverables </li><li>Management of various special projects including working with others to ensure quality and timely completion </li><li>Manage and prioritize a large volume of electronic correspondence via Outlook and Microsoft Teams </li><li>Use of software including, but not limited to: Practice Engine, CCH Axcess, Adobe, Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Concur, Docuware, etc. </li><li>Internal and external event coordination </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous administrative or customer service experience </li><li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs </li><li>Professional written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Comfortable with verbal client interaction - in person, telephone and email </li><li>Familiarity with general office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers/printers, and scanners </li><li>Discrete concerning confidential or sensitive information </li><li>Ability to work in the office daily </li><li>Ability to demonstrate professionalism when working with internal staff and clients </li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Resourceful and a team player </li><li>Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage workflow for multiple team members </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>2 years' experience in office environment, preferably performing as an administrative assistant </li><li>Must have knowledge of administrative procedures and best practices </li><li>Proficient use of applicable technology </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally </li></ul> <p>#LI-AE1</p> <p>#LI-Onsite</p>
