We're committed to bringing passion and energy to our College.</p> <p>Visit our Life Page on LinkedIn to explore our dynamic campus culture, hear from current employees, and discover what makes Bucks County Community College a great place to work!</p> <p>Inspire the Future in Healthcare!</p> <p>Bucks County Community College is seeking two part-time contracted instructors to teach a Healthcare pre-apprenticeship program that includes Phlebotomy (CPT) and EKG technician (CET) certification preparation (National Healthcareer Association).</p> <p>Program Details</p> <ul> <li> <p>Start Date: January 2026</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM</p> </li><li> <p>Location: The Center for Advanced Technologies, Epstein Campus, Bristol</p> </li></ul> <p>Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li> <p>Instruct, develop lesson plans, maintain all student attendance, provide assessments, and paperwork associated with the course. Identify supplies/materials/equipment required for class and maintain equipment. Mentor as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Course structure - daytime career training classes are conducted Monday-Friday for approximately 12 weeks; Class will be theory and hands-on in a lab setting.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have a high school diploma, a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the field and experience teaching EKG and Phlebotomy is strongly preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>EKG and/or Phlebotomy national certification (NHA preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>CPR/BLS Instructor certification required.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to develop and maintain excellent relationships with a diverse staff and student population.</p> </li><li> <p>Must also have the ability to mentor learners in soft skills such as teamwork, professional work behaviors, and professional communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Work effectively in a team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of MS Office for email and recordkeeping.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Community College teaching experience</p> </li><li> <p>Externship program management</p> </li></ul> <p>Application Requirements</p> <p>Interested candidates must submit the following documents through our online application portal:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current Resume or Curriculum Vitae</p> </li><li> <p>Cover Letter</p> </li><li> <p>Unofficial transcripts (Official transcripts required upon hire)</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation: $50/hour</p> <p>Special Instructions to Applicants:</p> <p>Applicants will be required to present proof of EKG and/or Phlebotomy certification and complete a PA background check.</p> <p>Additional Requirements</p> <p>Final candidates will be required to successfully complete a Pennsylvania background check as part of the hiring process.</p> <p>Make a Difference.
