As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for educating students and inspiring them to achieve their full potential in mathematics. You will be required to teach mathematics subjects to students of various skill levels, and help them develop their problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and analytical abilities.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for mathematics subjects including Geometry and Statistics, Functions, Number Systems, Expressions and Equations,Operations and providing a strong foundation for Algebra 1 and higher math. </li><li>Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse students, including those with special needs. </li><li>Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. </li><li>Monitor and assess students' progress, identifying areas where they need additional support or enrichment. </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive and comprehensive mathematics curriculum. </li><li>Use classroom management techniques to maintain a well-organized and respectful learning environment. </li><li>Develop new ideas and materials for teaching mathematics. </li><li>Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in mathematics education. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong educational background in mathematics. </li><li>Proven experience in teaching mathematics subjects. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to educate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. </li><li>Proficiency in classroom management techniques. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment. </li></ul> <p>Job Types: Full-time, Contract</p> <p>Degree: Bachelors plus complete specific math coursework, finish an approved Teacher Preparation Program (like Alternate Route, and pass required exams.</p> <p>Certification Needed:</p> <p>Mathematics (1900) or</p> <p>Middle School with Subject Matter Specialization Grades5-8-</p> <p>Mathematics (1102) or</p> <p>STEM (1107)</p> <p>Full Benefits Package:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) </li><li>Dental insurance </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Professional development assistance </li><li>Retirement plan </li><li>Tuition reimbursement </li><li>Vision insurance </li></ul>
